THERMAL STABILITY OF HYDRAULIC OILS

THERMAL STABILITY OF HYDRAULIC OILS – ASTM D 2070 / IS 11656

Model Code: SEWTS01(4 beakers assembly)
SEWTS02(6 beakers assembly)

This test is intended to measure the thermal stability of hydraulic oils. Copper and steel rods are placed together in the oil which is heated to 135°C for one week. Total sludge in mg/100 ml oil, and viscosity changes are reported. (Also the condition of the metal specimens is reported according to the Cincinnati Milacron color chart.)
