SIMULATED SERVICE CORROSION TESTING
FOAMING TENDENCIES OF ENGINE COOLANTS IN GLASSWARE – ASTM D 1881 / JIS K 2234
Model Code : SEWFT01
This apparatus is used The test is carried to determine foaming tendencies of Engine Coolants using glassware test apparatus to foam under controlled laboratory conditions of aeration and temperature. A solution of coolant and distilled water is blown with air at a constant rate for 5 minutes maintaining constant temperature. The volume of foam and time for the foam to break are measured. The test is conducted in duplicate.
