CORROSION OF CAST ALUMINIUM ALLOYS IN ENGINE COOLANTS
CORROSION OF CAST ALUMINIUM ALLOYS IN ENGINE COOLANTS UNDER HEAT- REJECTING CONDITIONS - ASTM 4340 /JIS K 2234 / IS 5759
Model Code: SEWCA01 (single cell assembly)
SEWCA02 (two cell assembly)
SEWCA02 (two cell assembly)
This Test equipment is in accordance with ASTM D 4340 in which a heat flux is established through a cast aluminium alloy typical of that used for engine coolant cylinder heads while exposed to an engine coolant under a pressure of 193 kPa (28 psi). The temperature of the aluminium specimen is maintained at 135OC (275OF) and the test is continued for 1 week (168 hours).
