The Copper Corrosion Test Apparatus is used for the detection of corrosiveness to copper of aviation gasoline, aviation turbine fuel, automotive gasoline, diesel (including bio-diesel), cleaners, solvents, kerosene, etc. The equipment conforms the requirement of test methods ASTM D 130 and IP154. The equipment is a constant temperature bath in combination with low pressure test bombs / vessels or open test tubes.


APPARATUS CONSIST OF :
Constant temperature bath Liquid heating bath, mfg SS / MS OR Aluminium solid block.
Corrosion test bombs The test bombs / vessels mfg of SS 304 with screw cap, gasket, pressure upto 7 bar.
Corrosion test tubes Borosilicate glass test tubes, 25mm diameter 150 mm length.
Set of glassware Viewing tubes, test tubes, flat viewing glasses, etc.
Control Panel Variable heating control, digital temperature indicator cum controller, digital display.
Recommended Spares Copper strips, 99.9 pure copper, 12.5mm W, 75mm L and 3mm Thickness. The copper strip colour standards as ASTM D 130 test requirement. Circulation air oven / drying oven. Metal strip vice. Silicon carbide grit papers 100, 150, 240, 360, 500, 600 grit. ASTM 12 C Thermometer.
