The test apparatus is used for detection of corrosiveness to copper of liquified gases. A polished copper strip is immersed in the sample contained in a pressure cylinder. After immersion for one hour at 37.8OC the strip is removed and rated against the ASTM copper corrosion standard.

APPARATUS CONSIST OF :
| Constant temperature bath | To maintained 37.8OC +/- 0.5OC using suitable media. |
| Corrosion test cylinder | Hydraulically tested the 1000 psi with needle valves as per 5.1 of two standard. |
| Control Panel | PLC based embedded touch button control panel with all control & safety instrumentation. |
| External Cryostatcophones | In case ambient temperature is higher than test temperature. |
