This apparatus is used for test method which evaluates the cavitation corrosion characteristics of aluminum automotive water pumps with coolants. The test method can be used for distinguishing coolants that contribute to cavitation corrosion and erosion corrosion of these pumps. In the test, aqueous coolant solutions circulated through the simulated system and an aluminium automotive water pump is used as test specimen. The pump is examined to determine the extent of the corrosion damage and rated accordingly.

Flow indicator | Digital type flow measuring device with sensor, flow control valve etc. |
Control panel | Heating control, digital temperature indicator cum controller, digital display. |
Recommended spares | Reserve tank for coolant recovery, thermometer: ASTM 12 C, etc. |
