COPPER STRIP CORROSION TEST APPARATUS FOR LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GASES - ASTM D 1838

The test apparatus is used for detection of corrosiveness to copper of liquified gases. A polished copper strip is immersed in the sample contained in a pressure cylinder. After immersion for one hour at 37.8OC the strip is removed and rated against the ASTM copper corrosion standard.


APPARATUS CONSIST OF :
Constant temperature bath To maintained 37.8OC +/- 0.5OC using suitable media.
Corrosion test cylinder Hydraulically tested the 1000 psi with needle valves as per 5.1 of two standard.
Control Panel PLC based embedded touch button control panel with all control & safety instrumentation.
External Cryostatcophones In case ambient temperature is higher than test temperature.
Recommended spares Part of O ring seals, ASTM 58oC Thermometer, Copper Corrosion Color Chart.
